Every adventure has it's pauses and this is one of those times. A time to stop for a moment and reflect. Rita as most of you are aware I'm sure is back in the UK. Although anticipated it still came far to soon. The news that her brother Roy had past away brought shock and disbelief. I watched as a girl full of life and filled with new ideas wilted like a flower in an instant. It is in times like this that we all learn things about ourselves, my heart filled with her pain yet I knew not what to do, to comfort her. Over the next few days while listening to her talk and reflect I saw the depth of her love for her brother and understand her need to grieve. I knew Roy only briefly, but from the first meeting I liked him. A plain man who did not ask for much, content and liked to smile. He will be missed and yet remembered by many, of that I am sure. Please take a few moments to let those you care about, know that they too are loved.
